A Method for Generating Colorings over Graph Automorphism

چکیده
Given a graphG = (V,E) with a setW ⊆ V of vertices, we enumerate colorings to W such that for every two enumerated colorings c and c′ the corresponding colored graphs (G, c) and (G, c′) are not isomorphic. This problem has an important application in the study of isomers of chemical graphs such as generation of benzen isomers from a tree-like chemical graph structure. The number of such colorings can be computed efficiently based on Polya’s theorem. However, enumerating each from the set of these colorings without using a large space is a challenging problem in general. In this paper, we propose a method for enumerating these colorings when the automorphisms of G are determined by two axial symmetries, and show that our algorithm can be implemented to run in polynomial delay and polynomial space.

Perfect $2$-colorings of the Platonic graphs
In this paper, we enumerate the parameter matrices of all perfect $2$-colorings of the Platonic graphs consisting of the tetrahedral graph, the cubical graph, the octahedral graph, the dodecahedral graph, and the icosahedral graph.

An Euclidean graph associated with a molecule is defined by a weighted graph with adjacency matrix M = [dij], where for ij, dij is the Euclidean distance between the nuclei i and j. In this matrix dii can be taken as zero if all the nuclei are equivalent. Otherwise, one may introduce different weights for distinct nuclei. Balaban introduced some monster graphs and then Randic computed complexit...
متن کاملGenerating an Indoor space routing graph using semantic-geometric method
The development of indoor Location-Based Services faces various challenges that one of which is the method of generating indoor routing graph. Due to the weaknesses of purely geometric methods for generating indoor routing graphs, a semantic-geometric method is proposed to cover the existing gaps in combining the semantic and geometric methods in this study. The proposed method uses the CityGML...
متن کاملSymmetry and Synchrony in Coupled Cell Networks 2: Group Networks
This paper continues the study of patterns of synchrony (equivalently, balanced colorings or flowinvariant subspaces) in symmetric coupled cell networks, and their relation to fixed-point spaces of subgroups of the symmetry group. Let Γ be a permutation group acting on the set of cells. We define the group network GΓ, whose architecture is entirely determined by the group orbits of Γ. We prove ...
متن کاملTHE AUTOMORPHISM GROUP OF FINITE GRAPHS
Let G = (V,E) be a simple graph with exactly n vertices and m edges. The aim of this paper is a new method for investigating nontriviality of the automorphism group of graphs. To do this, we prove that if |E| >=[(n - 1)2/2] then |Aut(G)|>1 and |Aut(G)| is even number.
